Description

Spikes covred with grape-like, long-lasting blooms in a range of blues and whites; great as an edgeing plant, for forcing or for deisgning a river; frangrance reminiscent of grapes; naturalizes armeniacum-type send up foliage in the fall which makes it great garden marker to help locate other more difficult to find, spring flowering bulbsthat need to be fertilized in fall; critter resistant heirloom.

Plant bulbs 3" deep and 5-6" apart in a well drained, sunny location. grape hyacinths are an extremely low maintenence option for spring displays. Plant in fall for early spring color. It will perform best in two or more hours of sunlight, or filtered light all day. Water regularly, but not overly.
